Biography

Jonathan Lorenz, M.D. is a Series Editor of Thieme RadCases. He is author or coauthor of over 70 publications and three textbooks, including two in this series. As a local and national leader in the education of Radiologists, he is Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Fellowship at The University of Chicago Hospitals and has lead courses and moderated scientific sessions at national meetings of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiological Society of North America.

He is an active member of the Interventional Radiology Subcommittee of the American Roentgen Ray Society and the expert panel of the American College of Radiology on the appropriate use of interventional radiology procedures. His clinical interests include transplant intervention, hepatobiliary intervention, and arterial embolization techniques.
